On-call pharmacy in Agadir on Sunday: which one is open?
On Sundays in Agadir, most pharmacies are closed. Only the on-call pharmacies stay open, and they are not the same from one Sunday to the next. Here is how to find the one that is open today, what changes between day and night, and what to do if you can't get out.
How Sunday on-call duty works
Agadir's pharmacies take turns providing the on-call service, sector by sector. On Sundays and public holidays, one or more pharmacies per sector provide daytime duty, usually from the morning until normal closing time. In the evening, the night duty pharmacies take over.
That is the trap: the on-call pharmacy on Sunday afternoon is not necessarily open on Sunday evening. If you are looking for a pharmacy after nightfall, make sure it is on night duty.
Where to find this Sunday's on-call pharmacy
In pharmacy windows. Each pharmacy displays the on-call schedule for its sector. It is the most reliable source, but you have to go there.
On lists published online. The day's list is published on Le Matin and on Pharmacie en permanence Agadir. Check the date shown.
By phone. Always call the pharmacy before going, to confirm that it is on call and that it has your medicine.
How on-call duty works in full, neighbourhood by neighbourhood, is explained in our guide on-call pharmacy in Agadir today and at night.
