Getting delivery to your hotel in Agadir: the practical guide
On holiday in Agadir, something is often missing: a medicine, sun cream, nappies, a charger or simply a meal after a long day at the beach. Good news: you can get almost anything delivered to your hotel, riad or rental, without an app. Here is how it works.
What you can get delivered to your hotel
Pharmacy
Medicines, sun cream, plasters. Day or night, via the on-call pharmacy.
Groceries
Water, snacks, fruit, baby products, bought at the supermarket or the souk.
Meals
The restaurant of your choice, even if it doesn't deliver itself.
Forgotten items
A parcel or an item to pick up elsewhere in the city and bring to you.
The principle is always the same: you tell us what you need, a MOVO driver buys or collects it for you and hands it to you at the hotel.
How to order from your hotel
1. Message us on WhatsApp. In English, French or Arabic, on +212 605-577990. Say what you need and a maximum budget if it involves purchases.
2. Give a clear address. The exact name of the hotel, the neighbourhood and your name as registered at reception. For a rental or a riad, send your WhatsApp location.
3. We confirm the price. The delivery fee depends on the distance: it is not the same in central Agadir as in Taghazout. It is given to you before the driver sets off. Prices by zone are on our delivery prices in Agadir page.
4. You pay on handover. In cash, in dirhams. For purchases, you receive the receipt and pay back the exact amount, with no mark-up.
Handover at reception or in person
Many hotels do not allow drivers to go up to the rooms. Two options:
You come down to reception when the driver lets you know he is arriving. This is the simplest, and you pay him directly.
You let reception know that a delivery in your name is on its way. Some hotels agree to hold it for you. In that case, you will just need to come down and pay for the order at handover.
For meals from outside, every hotel has its own rules: check with reception, especially if you are on an all-inclusive package.
